Grown Up Emily

I am a Lutheran school teacher who is (quickly) learning what it is like to be an adult. My husband (also a Lutheran school teacher), Caleb, and I have recently purchased a new home and are taking each day as the Lord gives it to us. This is a sporadic tale of our journey of faith, love, and pullin up our britches when times get tough! We love to see what God has in store for us.

You drive? You drive me crazy!

This MUSICAL is driving me crazy.....and making me so tired.

Our K-4 musical is on Friday and it has been SUCH a long time coming.  We had to put it off when two of our teachers had to leave for medical reasons.  So now that the musical is finally here it STILL feels like we haven't had enough time.  I don't like feeling unprepared and some kids are still reading from the papers!!  Our rehearsals are also first thing in the morning which really wipe me out for the rest of the day.

I know today is Tuesday and it isn't til Friday...but it still worries me.

So, to quell my worries, Caleb and I have been doing these things this week to take my mind off the upcoming musical:
-playing catch in the backyard (breaking in my new glove)
-taking long walks around our neighborhood
-grilling (because I love anything off the charcoal grill)
-watching TONS of BBC America's show "Top Gear"
           -and "Jeopardy!"

What should I be doing?  Going to visit the Freeland Sports Zone!  I haven't been there in an embarrassingly long time. :(  I have been eating TONS better, which keeps my weight off (slowly dropping) but I need to get my butt in gear again and start doing more cardio with my healthier eating.  Which reminds me to state that CHICKEN SAUSAGE is amazing.   We grilled some apple smoked Johnsonville brats today and they were SOOOOOOO delicious.

Okay. I am going to eat a banana...because I crave them every day...hour...minute of my life. :D
